Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Standsly (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service — it's that simple.

Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering a contract.
  • One account per person. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

Your content

Your log entries, tags, summaries, and public profile content are yours. We make no claim of ownership. You retain all rights you had before using Standsly.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to operate the Service (e.g. rendering your heatmap, sending your entries to Anthropic when you click “Generate summary”, making your public profile accessible at its public URL if you enabled that).

This license ends when you delete the content or delete your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything illegal or intended to harm others
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission
  • Upload content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or violates their privacy
  • Abuse the API — automated access must respect documented rate limits; the AI summary endpoint is hard-capped at 5 generations per user per day to keep costs sane
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without a written agreement with us

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. If we do, we'll tell you why.

Subscriptions and billing

Plans

Standsly offers a free plan and paid plans (Pro monthly, Pro annual, and a sales-led Teams tier). Features and pricing for each plan are shown on the upgrade page.

Payment processing

All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy collects any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST based on your billing country and remits it to the relevant tax authorities. Your contract for the payment itself is with Lemon Squeezy, under their Terms.

Renewals and cancellations

  • Paid plans auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless you cancel.
  • You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing → Manage subscription. Your Pro features stay active until the end of the current paid period; we don't pro-rate refunds for unused time.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we'll retry a few times. If it still fails, your account drops back to the free plan.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on new Pro subscriptions. Email standslyai@gmail.com within 14 days of your first charge and we'll issue a full refund via Lemon Squeezy — no questions asked. Beyond 14 days, refunds are at our discretion.

Price changes

We may change prices for new subscriptions at any time. If we change the price of your existing subscription, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then if you don't agree.

Service availability

We do our best to keep Standsly fast and available, but we make no uptime guarantees on the free plan. Paid plans receive best-effort priority support via email.

We may suspend or shut down features with reasonable notice. If the Service is permanently discontinued, we'll give paid users at least 60 days' notice and a pro-rated refund for any unused period.

Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

AI-generated summaries are produced by a third-party language model (Anthropic Claude). They may contain errors and should be reviewed before being shared externally. Don't paste them into your performance review without reading them first.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claim, liability, or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these terms.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account any time from Settings → Danger Zone. We can terminate your account for a material breach of these terms — in which case we'll pro-rate any refund owed for the remainder of a paid period.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be emailed to all active users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that counts as acceptance.
